WIC Income Eligibility

WIC Income Eligibility

Many working families qualify. Individuals who participate in other programs such as Food Stamps, Medicaid, and Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) may automatically be income eligible.

WIC income eligibility is based on 185% of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Poverty Guidelines, meaning a participant's combined family gross income cannot exceed 185% of the federal poverty standards.
