SPARK After School Program is a research-based organization which has developed a variety of evidence-based programs including PE curriculum with fun and engaging activities aimed to increase children’s healthy eating and active living behaviors. The SPARK PE program is offered three days a week at all seven elementary school Kids’ Camp Programs.

Worksite Wellness Program

San Juan Basin Health Worksite Wellness Program provides resources and support for local business owners and employees to create healthier, more productive work environments.

Each participating worksite commits to an 8 – 12 month process. The program is initiated by an employee health screening and a workplace health survey, followed by a comprehensive customized Wellness Plan based on the results of these assessments and the needs of employees.

San Juan Basin Health’s Worksite Wellness Coordinator provides support and guidance in creating the Wellness Plan for each worksite as well as educational resources, health coaching, and referrals specific to the needs of each worksite and employee.

San Juan Basin Health is currently serving 11 businesses in La Plata and Archuleta counties and enrollment for the current year is closed.
